One-one Oh-Nine

I don't know if it's just me, but I think that a lot more people are into the new year spirit this year...or at least among my friends. Probably because it rained during the entire new year's eve and less people got to light up their firecrackers.

Like I mentioned in my previous notes, it's always a good opportunity to make changes every new year, although not major ones because I've long given up on making new year's resolutions. Haven't you?

So, here's a rundown of the things I did for the past few days to usher in the start of a brand new year:

1. Got pampered. I treated myself to a fancy mani-pedi and a relaxing facial. I don't want to welcome the year with dirty nails or with a face full of zits. It might carry over throughout the rest of the year. Scary. ;p

2. Gave my dog a nice bath too. For the same reason as number 1.

3. Cleaned my room. Not the major spring-cleaning kind I do when I'm in the mood for it. Just tidied up some clutter. And changed the sheets.

4. Did a little home work-out. Time to shed off the holiday pounds. Thanks to Men's Health magazine i've been browsing for the past two days, got to learn new exercise routines that can be easily done at home.

These may not be a lot but it's pretty much okay for me. I'd rather make little steps than big resolutions like quit smoking blah.

And you?

Makati CBD Like You've Never Seen It Before

Came across this beautiful photo of the Makati skyline at night. Such a refreshing picture to look at. I spend almost every day of my life in this area but I never knew it could be as pretty as this.
